Maruchan - Minor page redesign and feature additions
Project Summary
Maruchan requested small tweaks throughout the website but two main focus areas were the recipe landing and recipe detail page.
My Role
The main role I took with this project as User Experience designer was to layout a better way to present the list of recipes on the recipe landing page as well as create a more intuitive recipe detail page. Through wire-framing and closely working with the lead designer we were able to combine best practices with client and user needs to create a more involved user experience.
Recipe Landing Page
Maruchan wanted more functionality on the page, working closely with a designer we redesigned this page to align the copy, added filters+sort, and more design distinction within the cards on the page.

Recipe Detail Page
The recipe detail page was redesigned to bring key information above the fold, followed by the recipe video. A prominent location for the product thats featured in the recipe was brought to the top left with a link to that product. Under the image of the featured product, a list of the ingredients was brought in as well as the ability to download a shopping list of those items. The right side incorporates stills from the video as step by step instructions to add visuals to steps.
